I have a running EVO7 ECU in a EVO6.
I understand that the evo 6 does not have the clutch switch required to make this work, does anyone have a wiring diagram and a tutorial so I can install one.
Thank you

The best thing you can do, assuming the E7 has the clutch switch, is to have a look to the wiring diagram of the E7 and also have a look to how the switch is installed in a E7.
That's what i would do...

I understand that the clutch switch on the evo7 ecu goes into pin43
I don't have access to a evo7 to investigate the clutch switch.
What switches are other people using? Is the switch installed on the top or bottom of the pedel, is there a 'how to' guide or tutorial?

NLTS = No lift to shift
Basically you can keep your foot planted to the floor on gear changes:smile:

am sure this is just a link from ecu to n/o switch on clutch pedal

So is the switch existing and just needs wiring up?
What's n/o?

No i think you need to add a switch like a brake light switch.
n/o is normally open so no connection then when switch is operated it goes closed causing a connection.

brake light rould be the easist to source.
Have anyone done this? what are other people experiences?
also just out of interest is the Launch control, controlled by the clutch switch or activated by speed (or lack of?)

BarryC on the MLR fitted a clutch switch and did a 'how to' with pics but just searched to find the pics have now been removed so not much use anymore..... Could be worth sending him a PM though

connect one side of the switch to chassis ground
the other side to pin 43 on the evo 7 ecu
it is not possible to connect this to a 3 plug evo 8 ecu as there was no OEM input assigned for a clutch switch

It is set to what rpm you want in the rom under stat rev limit and is controlled by speed which can be set under stat rev limit speed threshold:smile:
