I am aware that it might not be the best place to ask this question, but since most of you guys have more experience in evos than I do, I might get an answer, so here goes nothing.

I have an EVO 6, and the engine bay/compartment is designed to be like the later, 7,8 and9.

I am looking to replace my intercooler, and pipes and my question is...do i need a special kit for the 5/6 or since the engine bay/filters/air intake poasition is changed i can use any kit in the market...namely for a 7, 8 or 9?

The intercooler kit is a greddy spec R i think, but its tailored for the 8&9 as it was purchased from the states.

Looking forward for your inputs/suggestions/comments.

Thank you

post up some pics to show the route the pipes take.

You say it has been designed like the VII-IX. Has the battery been re-located?

What intercooler is on there now?

will post a pic once I leave the office, yes the battery has been relocated, and for now it has the original 6 intercooler, but the piping is a combination of a 7 & 8
