Sorry to link to another board, but here is some info on my SD setup for the IX.

It should work on VII and VIII ECUs with just the addresses changed since I have not based this on the IX's existing MAP sensor code which is just used for transient lift off conditions. You would of course need to have a 3 bar MAP sensor loggable on your ECU. I've not really looked into this as my IX comes with a loggable 3 bar MAP, but others have documented the conversion well on evolutionm.net - at least for US Evo VIII. I gather that if you had an MDP sensor there will be alterations required. If you don't have an MDP sensor, you'd need a spare ADC input, and 5V and ground to a suitable sensor. AVC-R MAP sensor could be read also.

I would like to discuss the SD conversion itself though in this thread, rather than adding a MAP sensor.

Well if everything goes to plan, I should be ready to test if or when you port to a VII rom, as I have the IX intake manifold fitted with the 3bar and IAT (just need to wire them in).
