Hi
Attached is the MINES ROM I pulled out of an E7 last night.
Don't have the XML to suit, so if someone knows how to do that...
Let me know what you think.
Not looked at it yet, but just chucked this xml together.

Just had a look and boy has it got some timing in there, fuel map is a bit odd on cruise.

Please ignore that!
D1ckhead operator syndrome ;)

Have you shut down ecuflash and the reopened it and then load the file from where you saved it and not from the ecuflash drop down bar.

I ended up trying it myself
I flashed it into a stock E7 with an E9 turbo installed. Not bad at all! It definitely brings more power than the ralliart rom.
No knock until around 5500rpm /1.4 bar, where I constantly logged 7-8 counts of knock, I enriched the fuel around that region & the knock went down to 3 counts. Tomorrow, I'll work on it some more & log for AFR.

What mods do you have?
Did you try the Evo V Mines rom already?

No, I just tried the VIIs rom, but I assume that the Vs is the same in terms of aggressive timing & very lean fuel map. Be extra careful with it, I think it requires more than 98ron gas, & the the fuel table may require some changes (enrichment).
I detected knock (7-8) counts at 5500rpm 1.4 boost & (10-12) counts on launch control 5500rpm .5 boost!
hows mid power? - spool etc.

big improvement over the stock rom
did you run on 98ron?
any logs?
did you copy over the timing and fuel maps or did you load the whole rom in?>

Yes, I ran on 98ron since it's the only gas available where I'm at, I'd recommend a higher octane fuel for this rom. I flashed the whole rom at first & logged for knock & detected some at around 5000rpm 1.4 bar, so I altered the fuel map a bit until the knock was gone. I then copied/pasted the fuel/timing & set it as an alternate map. I didn't log for AFR since I didn't have my LM-1 on me, but I should log for AFR this weekend, it's very clear that rom has a very lean fuel table though, so be careful with it.
thats great. Thanks for the info.
Im just worried about the timing on cruise - and the fuel on spool...im guessing with that fuel map, lean spool was disabled as it'll be a lot leaner with it working as well.
might copy everything over and give it a try myself in the 7 =)
tested the map.
I just copied fuel and timing maps over
lots of knock at peak spool 3000-3500 area at 200-240 load. Also a mega alot of knock (10+) at 5500 rpm at 180-200 load.
reduced timing by a few degrees though and it was all good.
in terms of afrs, it seems to be ok for me...12.5-12.9 spool, tapering to 11.5-11.3 quickly...then i got knock and afrs hit the 9's ...more testing on its way but for someone wanting a close to a good tune, this is a good base
Cheers
