Hi guys,
Have switchable maps on my E6 using E7 ecu.
Now just looking into the whole mapping scene myself and was hoping any 'geeks' :> could assist with explaining if possible what each of these 'Tephra mod options' are and what they do? :confused1:
- Restore ICS state on ignition
- Flash ICS when on alternate map
- Enable alternate maps master? ADCOF=1, AutoICS=2 (Think this is something to do with actually switching between maps.....mine is set to 1)
- Enable manual ICS linger
- Enable Auto-Valet on fresh ignition
- Enable map averaging
Cheers in advance

ics is Intercooler spray restore to its last state. i.e if it was in automode when you turned ignition off it will that when you turn on ignition again as it did not do this as standard.
.
flash ics is when you set up an alternate set of maps for your car that you can switch between by holding down the ics button for a predetermined time
the flash tells you your running on the alternate maps.
.
enable gives some different ways to switch to alternate maps.
.
enable linger keeps to ics on for a small time longer after you let go of manual spray.
.
when valet is enabled this makes it active everytime ignition is turned on.

Cheers Lee that makes a bit more sense now.
So what is the difference between 'Enable Valet mode' and 'Enable Auto-Valet on fresh ignition' as i thought valet mode was effective everytime the ignition was turned on anyway?

exactly the opposite. enable just means the feature is available that you control when its active and not.
auto refresh means its active on fresh ignition regardless of its state at switch off
