roms/xmls and how/where to save them?

i'm looking for some help with how to save a rom and xml file and what location to save them in ecuflash.

looking to put rom 96260009 on an evo 8 260 ecu in my evo 4

can someone send me a link to this rom and associated xml file?

i tried saving some roms tonight just to get used to the ecuflash software but couldnt find/open them once saved.

any help would be greatly appreciated

Save the rom to a location of your choice...i just made a Evo roms folder and store them all in there.

As for the xml's they have to go to a specific location for ecuflash to find them, the normal location unless altered is:

My computer - C drive - Program files - OpenECU - Ecuflash - Rommetadata -Mitsubishi - Evo:smile:

right ive got how to load the roms but the xmls im struggling with

did you close ecuflash after saving the xml then open again

i did yes i can see the xml in excel but how to use it in ecu flash has lost me lol

yeh i didnt have administrive rights on note pad so adjusted the xml by adding the a job jobbed
