I found this rom in a imported JDM E5. The ecu looked like a stock (7202F) but with a big sticker on the case that says 'CyberEvo'. The car was imported during 05, I wonder how they managed to re-tune it back then!
-It has some sort of an ALS (modified ALS table values) produces one bang at each gear change (no negative timing though).
-Modified fuel & timing tables, strangely, the low-octane tables are modified too!
-Higher rev limit & removed speed limit.
I hope that experts geeks around here would examine it & tell us what is it all about

Low octane fueling is actually leaner in parts than the high octane
Also running alot of timing up the top end..... running standard boost maybe? otherwise i would be expecting that to knock like crazy:eek:
The als settings have been altered however i haven't got the correct table to read the 'Air injection times' but the rest has definately been changed:smile:

A friend of mine did ran this rom on a stock E6 & assured me that he noticed a significant power increase, in fact he was so happy with it, he kept it.
I copied pasted fueling/timing from this rom over mine & gave it a couple of wots at 1.2bar, but I didn't feel any power improvement. I'll try log for some data the next time I try it.

Will have a look at the ROM just now.
Had a quick look at the ROM and there are few changes to the Octane control, Knock control table 2 as well has been changed, so it looks like there is not much knock control.
I will have a better look later on, and TBH I would not run this rom unless you have det cans on the car.

That's very aggresive. I think that would need to run on high oct fuel to get anywhere near that far advanced. Overall HP level I think would be dissapointing but torque would be very good

Not sure, but mate was just telling me they run some crazy time attack cars. Here's one....

Does anyone volunteer to use this map with, say, 1.6bar boost
and measure knock? :tt1:

They build very aggressive looking cars too

you would be in serious trouble if you got into a stone trap in that :lol:

The knock control table 2 is the same as that Ralliart Grp N rom that was floating about.

Do we have the ralliart grp n rom here in the download section?

Maybe the advance would be ok on the fuel they run in Japan. Isn't it something like 105 octane?

No, up to 100 octane.

was just reading this and curious as to backfiring on gearchange as ive seen this before and wondered what the benefit or reason behind it was? where abouts on the map is it and is it switchable or running constantly like this?
thanks

Benefit: to intimidate your opponents ;)
It can be switchable using modified roms, but not the rom found in the op here. If you're going the test it then you'll need 100+ octane fuel or you'll encounter knock & it could be very dangerous since it doesn't contain conventional low octane tables.
