pulled this rom off of a mates car all seems well apart from the injector scaling and the maf scaling.also maf smoothing is different to any rom i have seen up till now.any ideas?

MAF scaling, injector scaling and MAF smoothing are identical to other 7's I've looked at.

injector scaling---560
maf size-----310.8

Nope,
I'm seeing 542 injector scaling and 357.5 MAF size.

In fact, the ROM is identical to one I pulled off a 7 last night including the fuel and timing maps etc...

The only difference I can see is that your mates still has the 180km/h speed limit in place in the ECU.

Andynot trying to be funny but you are looking at the rom i posted at the top?when i open it it reads 560cc inj scale and 310.8 maf size

Check what the scalings are in your settings.

Right click on 'injector scaling' and go to 'edit map' and tell me what the scaling is set to.

I cant get it to load in on my ecuflash, your sure thats the right XML. ???

Change it to 'injector scaling' and everything will appear all OK again ;)

Similarly, with MAF size, change it to 'airflow16' and that will show the correct value as well ;)

Lee, that xml works with my version fine and opens it no probs

Just tried it out and all i get is the rom info nothing else :confused1:

Looks normal to me.

You have an incorrect xml.

There is a correct 1 in the downloads area

as said earlier tho i have the same rom from another car which reads as normal.
