lc1 location

i recieved my lc1 during the week and what to start logging afr's. I need to put this in the car in a way that i can always remove it so as i can then do my brothers car. I was going to hook up the power and earths to a cigarette lighter to keep it nice and simple. But where do i run the sensor through the car that makes it easy to remove? and how the hell are you suppose to be able to run the cables through a grommet without cutting the wires and rejoining them
