connect my 1.3 cable

I cant seem to get my 1.3 cable to work with evoscan.

The cable is being recognised but not able to get into the standard evo 6 ecu on my car.

I would like to check fault codes and bleed my ayc but every time I press "start data logger" it cant get into the ecu.:unsure:

Can anybody give me any advice or help please.

If you are using EvoScan's drivers, try using EcuFlash's drivers. They seem to work better sometimes.

I always uninstall old version of EvoScan. Then install EcuFlash and its drivers, then install EvoScan.


Also make sure the COM Port being used is reasonably low. I think on some computer/OS a high COM Port can cause issues. Try to assign it 8 or lower if possible.

you need it in diag mode (ie bridge pin 1-4 from the rear)
