View Full Version : How do I change the load scale in Fuel Maps

I have read the rom form my evo and I am trying to compare it against the ralliart rom to see how it differs as a learning exercise.

The scale on the ralliart rom goes up in increments of 20 form60 to 300 where as my standard rom goes up in increments of 20 from 100 and only goes up to 260.

Is there any way to change the scale so it is easier to compare the maps against each other?

The Ralliart tables are missing the 70 and 90 load columns, so all the others apart from 280 and 300 are directly comparable.

So the cell are missing i thought they might just be hidden.

Does my standard rom have cells for 280, 300?

No the standard rom is only scaled to 260, the Ralliart roms are designed to run more boost (load), so have tables to suit.

So what happens if I want to run a higher boost? 260 is about 1.6 Bar is it not?

If I was to set the car to peak at 1.7 Bar how would I map it to do this?

You need to rescale the maps to suit, do you want some instruction?

Yeah instructions would be great:smile:

I take it I will have to do the timing map as well. Other than timing and fuel are there any other maps I need to rescale for setting higher boost.

I was planning to do a 'how to' guide on this with pics, there is already on on Evom.

Basically highlight all the cells from the 80 load column to 260, then select copy.
Next highlight all the cells from 70 to 240 load and past in what you previously copied. Then hightlight the load row at the top from 80 to 260 and paste it over the 70 to 240 loads. Rename the last column 280 and reduce the values slightly in it.

Thanks Graham:thumbup1:

Just looked at the How to rescale load axis values post on evom. Really good guide for anyone needing to do this.

I am sure your how to will be just as informative.
