Is this the Rally or Sports Ralliart rom

I currently have an Evo 6 with a genuine Ralliart Evo 7 ECU but for Rally (33 mm restrictor is in the maps)

So, I want to reflash my new ecu with the sports map? any ideas

Cheers,

log the o2 in evoscan or test like this

first flash the codes out or use a code reader, evoscan can all so test it / read codes on some cars
First part evo 5 to 9 only

evo 4 has a 2 wire so no heater and only a 2 wire plug etc,
evo 1 to 3 should be same as the evo 4 but im not 100% on them they could even be 1 wire sensors
so just skip the heater part and get the engine hot befor testing etc

the wiring plug for the o2 is on the rocker cover on the left back side next to the timing belt .
just look at the wire from the sensor at the front of the engine on the turbo and see were it goes .

The wiring plug will be a 4 wire plug so you will have to find it as above
you live the sensor pluged in for this test and tap in to the wire and then run the engine

so you should have a 4 wire o2 sensor and 4 wire plug .
two wires should be the same colour mostly white but could be any colour ie black ,grey etc
they are the 2 heater wires one will be 12v battery feed the other earth
if the heater is gone or a damaged wire will stop the heater from working get the meter out and test them for a live and earth etc.
the exhust will be the only thing heating it if the heater gone.
it will take alot longer to start working if at all and may give odd reading

the other 2 wires are the ones you wont to check for the sensor its self. the 2 wires will be diffrent colours
probe /tap into the 2 wires at the plug or strip the wires back a small bit to test them.
it should move from 0 to 1 v and back to 0v very fast.
you most likely will see .2 to .8 v this is normal working sensor or 0v to .7v etc

so you should see it moving from around 0v to 1v and back to 0v
very sec or so

if its not working or it stuck on say .6v, 0v , 1v and not moving etc
the o2 is gone . Do the test from cold till the engine is fully hot and its alot easyer to work on a cold engine

if you need more of a run just ask
as it could be hard to read .
some tips / other problems there may be
look for exhaust leaks
clean out your T/body
change your fuel filter if it has one
change / gap your plugs too .6 ( evo / turbo cars)
do a pressure boost leak test and look for leaks ,vac pipes /intercooler pipe etc
check you maf is clean and working
check your turbo actuator if boosting odd or hitting boost cut, loop the vac pipe from the actuator to the turbo housing and it should boost .9 bar .
reset the idle whit evoscan using sas and idle screw, may help bov stall ask for more info
