Well, maybe if you tell us which ECU your using?????????

I believe it's pin 6 as Grant has it labelled as secondary air but we don't have a SAS on the early Evo's and only have EGR.

Merlin, the clue of his ECU is in the heading of the diagram ;) ;)

curious, there was no diagram when I looked at the post at work.
maybe some new firewall thingy getting in the way.

Pin 6 was the conclusion i came to. My car has no wire to that pin cause its an evo 1 ecu (maybe) traced the wires on my mates evo 3 and came up with pin 6 but that does not seam to work.
Is there anyway to tell which ecu i have? My engine is a 6 bolt version which i belive where mainly fitted to the early galant vr4 is it possible i have a galant ecu?
All the wires i have checked so far are the same as the evo 3 diagram.
Is there any other way to wire the wideband in so it logs with pocketlogger

Cheers

Think it depends on your wideband. Which one have you got?

An Evo 1 doesn't have EGR so that's why you won't have a wire plugged in there ;)

I just log the wideband direct using logworks on the laptop but I also have a gauge on my steering column so I can see what the AFR is doing during a run.

As long as I'm somewhere near to the correct AFR I'm after then I don't bother logging it in any great detail.

Yeah i know evo 1 doesn't have an EGR valve, does that mean that the ECU hasn't got the capability to run an EGR?

My ecu has a pin at no 6 but no wire so i put one to it but still didn't work!

Its a Stack gauge

Would really like to be able to log it some how

Try connecting it to pin 57 and see if that works.

Just had a quick look on the pocketlogger forums and it states that the wideband support if done on EGR temp not on the EGR valve activation pin.

57 was of the first ones that i tried by mistake, i read about it been egr temp related and thought it was 57 but all that did was put the cat overheat light on. :confused1:
