I took this from my Evo 6 tonight, any thoughts.

Not bad, I like the timing table, with some tweaking you could run it at 1.5 bar. Could you post a data log including AFR?

Just been out for a spin - first attempt at logging not sure I ticked the right options on what to log.

Boost is currently 1.1bar using a Profec-B - not wired in my Vems wideband yet.

Just had a quick look and it knocking like mad, you need knock counts of no more than 3 !

I would pull a good few degrees of timing out of the map from load area 120 right up to 260 all the way across the rev range.

Just like Lee said, it's knocking too much, what fuel are you using? I suggest that you use a stock E6 rom until you have your wideband ready for logging, so you could tweak the knock out of this one.

I am glad i checked it out now, I had a suspicion that it wasnt a standard map and dont trust jap maps.

Its on VPower - if i am reading the log right I am seeing knock of 10 :(

Thanks for the advice - boost controller now turned off :) until i can flash the standard rom onto it.

Just looke at my car in the daylight, its pretty stock apart from an exhaust and hks air filter, even has the cat still in it.

So I think I should be ok to drop a std rom onto it? can someone link me up to one? I am sure there in this section but difficult to tell which are 'std' roms

OK bit of a play later, I tried the std rom and car felt flat > logged it with no knock counts but decided to go back to original rom and pull some timing as you guys recommended.

took 2 degress from High Octane Timing 120-260 = selected all cells in that area across all rpm and pressed - twice :)

running at 1.1bar it feels fine and knock counts now seem acceptable - the power chart looks like 300hp? Log attached

I have been reading and learning for a bit longer now. I have ended up using the E6 Ralliart Rom with Launch added, because I just worried about the knock and I want to run more boost.

I am still running 1.1bar, will this rom take 1.4 bar relatively safely? Waiting on a new sensor for my Vems wideband :(

You should be ok running 1.4 bar as long as you have a fuel pump and you log for knock :)

Fuel pump is an unknown qty tbH , RD has borrowed the senor from my Vems as the one on his dyno died, and it was the same one. The dyno is now up and running at last, popped the Evo you mapped on it the other day and it went well.

Hoping to go out for a drive later today/evening, and its possible I can use the dyno tommorow for a play with mine, want to improve it for Snetterton, so figured I'd find a little more boost and try the launch control

Been out for a tweak - got car to run 1.45bar now with max knock of 3 between 4-5.k, will work on that area

I have also tried Virtual Dyno as below, I think I have it setup right. I weight 95kg which adds 209lbs to the car weight :(
