Anychace of the geeks posting (or PM'ing) some screen shots of ROMS that you have altered the fuel and timing high octane tables.
This just for reading/learning material, nothing is going to be flashed to the car. Before's and afters would be great
Thanks guys

Hi Graham,
Thanks for your work and I respect you mate.
Can you please send me the same email for all king of evo versions?
Same reason...just for development in the future and recieve more information about this.
Someday we must give suport to other rookie members like me.
Thanks mate
I will send a pm with my email adress.

After this thread i soon learnt that looking at tables is no match for orgaininsing some time with someone that knows what they are doing. Left with loads more confidence on mapping.

This might be cheeky but is they any change I could have a look aswell? Reading loads and would love to see what alterations you make. motorbikemad40@hotmail.com

Thanks for your help with the tephra 5.1.. It's a cracker.. Knock on cel realy does give you a great insight into what conditions bring on the the onset.
Thanks

It seems like the most popular option at the moment is running the evo X map sensor and doing some .xml editing.
I run a very similar set up to this except I am utilizing the evo X's 2 bar map sensor, we can get them from the local stealership for around $110 usd.

Hi, can someone share on how to interpret the both stock Evo 6 Fuel & Ign Maps?
My question is why the fuel is leaner from rpm 1000 til 5000 & timing map higher on 1000 til 7500 from Load (VE%) 0 til 80?
Load 90 & Rpm 4000 onward : Fuel getting richer & Timing start to drops?
Sample of Fuel & Timing Maps attached.
Thanks
(P.S : would wish to understand some basic principle of tuning)

Thanks and why is the timing drops to negative on low rev and load at 0~1250?
Say, when on boost up to redline, which column & bar should i touch in order to get a Afr's of 11.3~11.7 and which column & bar for adjusting idling Afr's?
Can we increase the timing and lower the fuel on the rev 500~3000 til load 90 VE% in order to get a good response?
Thanks

car never hits that cells, so you can pretty much disregard that part of map. consider 0-100 load as vaccuum and 100+ load as positive pressure. you can't build up boost at 1250 rpm. so when you hit say load 100, your rpm will be already somewhere about 2000-3000 rpm roughly
Say, when on boost up to redline, which column & bar should i touch
can't say without logs. you must log load and rpm. the crossing point of say X rpm and Y load is the cell the car uses at that moment
p.s. search and download Merlin's ecuflash guide. you should find answers on most of your questions there

You could adjust timing below 100 load to help crisp response or help ramp timing at the top but I'd concentrate more above 100 load at the moment, also no real point in changing fueling below 100 load either as your on closed loop fueling, unless you change the closed loop perameters.

Thanks Sbn1979, below 100 load means from 100 rpm til 5000rpm and how about from load 100 til 260 - 1500rpm up to 5000rpm? Can i advance timing in this area?

yes you could, to start id be aiming from 100+ load, 3-7K
