I'm taking my Evo 4 (E6 engine) off the road soon to do some work.

I one of the jobs is Fitting a LC1 and gauge, is it worth the extra dosh fitting the XD16 display? or are one of the G series gauges ok?

Cheers

The XD16 gauge is much easier to fit as it uses the serial out from the LC1 u can also use the push button on the gauge to perform the periodic free air calibration of the sensor

I use a G3 gauge that's wired into my LC-1.
They work well and I guess it depends on if you think it's worth the ease of connectivity etc. The G3 gauge is only 1 wire to connect to the LC-1 and then the usual, +12V, switched live and illumination wires.
