View Full Version : evo 7 4 plug into 5 just checkup

heres what ive found i want to know if its correct
This is what ive got:

Recap For Evo4/5/6 to Evo7/8 Ecu wiring conversion:
Connect cable 8 to pin 22 (Fuel pump relay swaps with AC control relay) *not req. for Evo7 ecus I checked
Connect cable 22 to pin 8 (AC control relay swaps with Fuel pump relay) *not req. for Evo7 ecus I checked
Disconnect pin 87 AYC/ACD signal
Connect Cable 20 to pin 32 (Rad. fan hi to Condensor fan hi)
Connect Cable 21 to pin 34 (Rad. fan lo to Condensor fan lo)
Connect cable 6 Secondary air system to pin 53
Disconnect pin 91 or rewire for IC sprayer manual operation

its all self explanitory, what do i do about the ayc signal and also pin 91 as ive got manual intercooler spray

disconnect and insulate .
i/c sprayer and ayc/acd input only applys to evo7 onwards

Out of interest, why do you want to fit a VII ECU?

my v came with a apexi commander and personally think there crap and i hate the hand held commander i look at it and get paranoid somet is wrong when its fine and ive swapped it for a 7 ecu, i want to fit the 7 ecu and then get it mapped straight after ibe only got to drive the car about 5 miles and ill just turn the booost off on my apexi boost controller

What Apexi ecu do you have as I know someone that is looking for a D-Jet ?

no pal its the l,jet so not really any good as the standard ecu will do the same job
