Hi all,
First off, thanks to all you wonderful folks putting up this site.
Gray/Lee---thank you for guiding me. I'm hoping to get all the parts in hand by end April (evo9 80series tubby, tactrix cable, cams, J pipe), after that I'll get on your nerves asking all kinds of amateur questions.
I have uploaded photos in my Picture album, comments welcome.
Cheers!!

Hi, reviving this thread, as I never got around doing what I wanted to do to my evo, solely for the fact, had way too much to do in the last year or so.
I now have the Openport 2.0 tactrix unit with the 2.0 cable. It logs fine, however, I want to remap my ralliart ecu (can't find my stock ecu, its in one of the many cartons).
Somehow, with the above it shows an error occured. Can you pls guide me.

Can you post up a screenshot of the error? Have you tried running ecu unlocker before opening ecuflash?

Nope haven't tried the ecu unlocker. Unfortunately that website linked is currently down and upgrading. Can you kindly direct me to another link for the unlocker.

Pls see the attachment. GrayW wrote in Lancerregister that you don't need unlocker for the ecu.
Gray, pls help in my case. Can't read ROM. It data logs. What are we doing wrong?

Lee is this the one? And if so, where do I have to connect this?

Yep thats the one mate.
Ok, plug it into the op2.0 cable, then you need to find the flash plug in your car, which will be tapped above the obd port, you will need to get on your back to do this and you may need to remove the dash cover to get to it but that if you cant see it, untape it, plug in both plugs then try and read the ecu.
Lee
Tahmid,
What evo do you have ???

Cheers Lee, many thanks, I don't think I will be able to this on my own tonight, as I have a severe back problem, slipped L4 S1 discs.
Pls see attached, so now I have to basically hookup both the connectors and then follow the usual procedure.
Thanks for the tips and will work this out tomorrow and let you guys know where I stand.

Lee I have an E6 with a Ralliart Ecu. (I was looking for the stock ecu, can't seem to find it, it's somewhere in the cartons).

Yep that's it mate, if you remove the lower dash its only 4 screws you will see the plug so you don't have to crawl around on your back
It will work now 100% when you plug in the 2 plugs

Many thanks Lee. Cheers!
My back seriously is pretty screwed up :p
BTW just wanted to clarify that this process should work with an E6 and my ECU installed is Ralliart, NOT stock.
And I have one more question, I will be heading to London on the 7th of Sep and staying at the Paddington area, where I usually do, since taking the train to Reading is so convenient, are there any evo parts shops there?
I know most of you guys mail order, however with my timeline and international credit card, most of them won't ship.
Where can I go near by to get the following:
NGK iridium spark plugs
Project MU pads
Innovate LC1 sensor (the one made by Bosch), just need the sensor, mines busted I think.
Thank you so much!!
Many thanks Lee. Cheers!

You will be fine on the RA ecu, just remove it from the case to see what processor number you have as there is different roms and xmls for the different processors that are in the ecu.
As for tuning shops, I don't think there is any apart from MA developments here are there details but I don't think he will have the pads

Lee thank you very much for all the help!
Emailed Mark, and keeping my fingers crossed for a reply. People are reluctant to communicate with the unknown.
Would have taken you for a few pints of Guinness/London Pride/Bombardier if you lived near to where I was heading. Any chance of meeting you folks when I am there in London around the 7th of September? Any meets around that time?
Take care!

Lee, works wonderfully, one try that was it! Many thanks!!!
Meanwhile, have attached a couple of screenshots. ROM read.
BTW, Mark mailed back, unfortunately he is not in a position to help with those parts. Any other recommendations?

Hi, have a couple of questions. Since the sensor with my LC-1 is not working, there is no point in data logging for the time being. Ordering one shortly, meanwhile, was trying to make a plan for my E6.
I thinking of upgrading the parts in my car. So much has changed since I last wanted to do something.
Currently my evo has, HKS exhaust, K&N intake, ralliart ecu, walbro pump, Greddy Profec E-01 Boost controller, Innovate LC-1, Defi boost gauge etc.
Please advise, whether getting the evo ix series 80 turbo, which help me achieve much, if i still run the stock internals in my E6? If so which company makes an adaptor for it. I have been searching for the last two days and no good info. If it is a good option, then need to understand which intercooler will be wise to buy, or is the stock good enough? Anyone makes garrett core intercoolers for the E6? What about piping? What about cams?
If the above stands ok, do I need to get COP? or is the stock one okay for the above setup.
Sorry for bothering with the questions, am trying my best to understand things.
I just copied the two data together trying to understand things, thought might just upload it.
Cheers!
