Hi Guys,

Can you please help me with this question?

What are the most important differences between a EDM version of EVO 9 6 speed..and a UK version of the same car?

I saw that you have into your ECU much more and different setups inside.

Why?

Your cars can allow ALS?Is there a SAS installed on stock versions?

My MAP was tuned by somebody and seems a bit familiar with FQ340 version into setups.

Your maps are workong for example to a EDM car with a proper setup?

Thanks

UK cars are the same as JDM ones, they are modified/remapped when they are imported.

Unfortunately the EDM IX was not sold in the UK, so it's difficult to know how it compares to the cars we have. :(

About EDM vs USDM I know some differences but only about the AYC/ACD system only and maybe some set-ups for min temp for closed loop etc..

I start to compare this into my mind since you have a very different ROM maps and your option for ALS setup. I have only a small cell with boost enhancement (anti-lag) start RPM and another one for min temp for boost control.

USDM vs JDM main differences what I know so far are:

-JDM has AYC, USDM does not
-JDM has different climate controls than USDM
-JDM IX had a different rear bumper and bumper cover
-JDM had anti-lag system
-JDM is HID heads and the amber marker (headlights/tailights)
-JDM has twin boost solenoid

I don`t know if EDM had the SAS hardware

Do you guys know more differences between USDM EDM or UK versions?
