Hello all!

Im mapping myself a Gems ecu for Evo 5. I have a few questions.

1. AFR is running around 13-12 up to about 4000 rpm and from there 12-11 up to 7000rpm. Is that OK? Boost is around 1.5-1.6 bar in higher gears holds 1.4.

2. I have managed to handle the wastegate map, but just don't get the boost target and limit maps.
Here is the pic of how it is set up at the moment:

I have only managed to get it working with wastegate map and it is only controlling that and nothing else. But would like to get other maps to work as well, so it would be safer and cleaner.
This is what I got from Gems, but i just dont understand how LOAD can be measurement for boost:
Within the airflow meter there 3 sensors Air Temp Barometric pressure and air volume the 3 sensors together if you have bar on will calculate mass airflow.

The waste gate map is 0-100% Duty cycle. Which is the open loop control of the waste gate. The boost limit table is for over boost conditions. Once you have run with airflow on for a while you will get a feel for load in GEMS 0-130 Load units it is not so different to using a map sensor for load measurements, gives very linear looking fuel maps. The Boost or load target map is only used in closed loop mode, Waste gate feedback ON. Yes these maps are used together the waste gate map first sets the valve at approximately the right duty cycle the boost target map then tries to control to the set load value.

I tried to make changes to the other maps but they did not do anything.

Long story short, how to set up boost in Gems ecu :)

first of all what is the spec of your car?

hello.
first of all what is the spec of your car?

* Walbro fuel pump
* HKS induction kit with Apex filter
* 2,5 straight trough exhaust after original downpipe
* NGK R7376-9 spark plugs

Otherwise original engine, which was fully rebuilt last summer.

id be running 11.5 afrs on boost from 3500 rpm.
