Need help, Apexi PFC on EVO IV

At first, Hi to everyone . I'm new at this forum and I'm from Georgia(country at the black sea side). Here in my country isn't any tuner of ecu. If you got any map which I can use on my car please help.

dgenga, have you got the basic's to tune your car.

Cable to log and flash the ECU
ECU flash
logging software

Also will be an idea to tell the geeks what ECU you have installed in the car

Hi,

I have been playing with the PFC for about 4 years now .

Do you have the PFC on the car, If so what PFC is it the L-jet or D-jet.

What mods do you have on the car exhaust, filter etc ?

And as Caesarson you will need the software and cable which comes with logging software, but you can do it with the hand controller but it can take some time to do this.

Lee I was just thinking, can you used excel to create a 3D map for PFC as the one in Datalogit is very poor.

Thanks , It's Apexi Power FC L-Jetro. Modifications : HKS Cold induction kit, Full exhaust , uprated fuel pump. I think I'll do it with hand controller ;) . During reading your posts hope returned to me :D

It could be a few things, 1 thing I would look at is the TPS it needs to read 4.8v @ WOT as this could through up the cell light if there is no voltage @ the TPS when on tick over.

I could also be the MDP sensor but I don't think the Apexi L jet has this in it TBH. I have put a Evo 7 PFC in a 6 and did not have to do the MDP wire conversion.

Thats good news then mate as I have never seen this before, All you need to do is get 5v or less to it and it will go out.....:smile:

I have have loads of maps I could send you if you had the data logic but you would still need to make sure the AFR's are not to lean on your car.
