Hi Guys

Ok I have a evo 08 260 and I'm looking for more more more power , currently the mods I have are as follows

Apexi Boost controller
Apexi pod filter
3" Turbo back downpipes
3" Fujiwotist exhaust
3" De-cat pipe
Wallboro 255 lph pump

On Monday I'm changing the cambelts so will also being installed some MR cams in there to free up more power

So the question is ????

Is there a map I can download that will get me more power to start with , eg can I download the MR map and install that to give me a better baseline

I do intend to install an AFR gauge but just need to get the plug welded to the downpipes , I also have the Openport 2.0 so re-flashing the ecu is no issue

I believe you can use 96260009 which is an 8MR ECU image. If your Apexi filter isn't upsetting MAF calibration too much, the fuel map could be fixed quick and dirty style by just clipping the lowest AFR values to about 10.2 on the right hand side of the map, adjusted as per your wideband to get about 11.5 AFR on the first pull in 3rd or 4th gear from 4000-red line. Raise the boost limit to 290, tune the boost on the Apexi, suggest about 1.7 bar held mid, rolling off from 5500 RPM until you reach about 1.4 bar at 7000 RPM. Log the knock sums and aim for up to 3, you might need to take up to a few degrees off in the high load areas depending on your individual car and MAF calibration on the Apexi filter. You can cut to the chase quickly by taking the 200+ load areas and adjusting the timing a degree at a time in RPM ranges based on your logs. On an example 8MR it needed 1 degree less midrange, 2 degrees less at the top. Grayw found more timing on a 3" exhaust in the midrange.

Since you're using a boost controller, you'll probably find you need about one flash to sort the fuel out, and one or two to do the ignition. Some cars are just a nightmare though, but most Evos are happy creatures and deliciously easy to map.

Thanks for the info , where do I download 96260009 rom image from and the xml for it

Is there any changes I need to make to this room before putting it in place ( Imoboliser etc )
