Just wondered if anyone has had experience with them?

Does anyone know where I can buy them?

After I have them fitted it's walbro 255 then a Ralliart Geekmap

Boost can be controlled from the standard ecu within the map and with 7 or 8 ecu can run dual maps so can run more boost on switched map so will save a few quid ;-)

True -

It would be nice to be able to adjust the boost on the fly :)
It's also useful to see how much boost you're actually running and what the air to fuel ratio is.

The air to fuel ratio gauge will also be handy when mapping.

And most importantly..... these gauges have flashing lights that change colour - well cool haha. :>

but you cannot adjust the fueling/timing on the fly. So why adjust the boost once it's setup correctly:p

A 3 port solinoid is all that is needed. I personally went for a Perrin.

You can have a boost gauge sat there to keep an eye on things, but I only connect one when i 'm out logging/ adjusting the map.

AFR one is the most important unless you go over to a map sensor and log boost with EVOScan

So what you're saying is the Tru boost is a bad idea?

With the 3 port solenoid do you adjust the boost via the ecu and that's it. Are they a direct replacement to the oem boost solenoid? Can you buy evo specific ones that just plug in... or is it a splice job?

I'm coming around to you way of thinking mate. I'm getting impatient now and just want to get the car mapped lol

Perhaps you're right... once everything has been set up on the ECU I doubt I'd want to touch it.

What 3 port solinoid would you recommend and where can I get one from? :)
