For what car?
Drop grant620 a PM on the MLR, he does Innovate widebands and Tactrix cables.

Have a good read of this (http://forums.evolutionm.net/ecuflash/201146-ecuflash-tutorial-beginners.html) and this (http://forums.evolutionm.net/ecuflash/302895-how-tune-evo.html) and make sure you understand it before doing anything! They are just the basics, but will help you on your way.
You will need a tachtrix open port 2.0 cable to map & log your car. Get hold of ECUflash from http://www.openecu.org/ and EvoScan from http://www.limitless.co.nz/Evoscan
EvoScan is used for logging data to check everything is running right and ECUflash is for the actual mapping.
On top of that you will need a wideband. For a perminant install go for an LC-1, I opted for an LM-1, because I didn't want a perminant install.
Everything can be bought from Grant620 on here & MLR or from his site http://www.gb-ent.com/
When logging remember to log the following....
knocksum, TPS, RPM, battery, timing advance, inj pulse width, inj duty cycle, ECUload, load calc, octaneflag, AFR MAP & external wideband (if possible)
For mapping the absolute minimum you will need is a tactrix Open Port 2.0 (http://www.gb-ent.com/store/innovate-motorsports/openport-2.0-with-adapter-set.html) (£165), ECUflash (http://www.openecu.org/index.php?title=EcuFlash) (free), EvoScan (http://www.limitless.co.nz/Evoscan/) ($25 download) & a wideband of some sort (LC-1 + gauge (http://www.gb-ent.com/store/innovate-motorsports/innovate-motorsports-lc1%10db-kit.html) (£195) & LM-1 (http://www.gb-ent.com/store/innovate-motorsports/innovate-motorsports-lm%111-basic-kit-%11special-offer.html) (£199) are the 2 favourites).
Hope that helps! :>
